The Old Alfer

I must say that Alf is one of the most inspiring people I have ever met (by met I mean have watched his every waking moment). When he can't get to sleep, he doesn't despair, he just puts a box on his head and rocks back and forth beeping. When other people are stressed or unsure, he helps them to slap on a steak and let their hair down. When the weather is insane (raining cats and dogs), he embraces it by opening the skylight and getting some relish. When a woman is self-conscious about her appearance, he simply shows his face in the bathroom window. And anytime he wants a solution, he eats--everything from pies on porches to cold cream. The world would be a better place if everyone viewed life like Alf does, but then again the world might also be broken and destroyed in a nuclear holocaust :)

    haha I guess I should watch some Alf when I come home. I never did get into that show like you guys did. We could do a little show swap, with mine and yours and Aileen's. (You and Kristen share the same show. And by Aileen's I mean the Dick van Dyke Show.) There's a lot we need to do when I come home.

    If you don't spend at least every waking moment at least near us then I will consider it wasted time! And for the record this post was not written by yours truly but the other dear that resides at my house. I left my account signed in, and Aileen JUMPED on the opportunity! But it could have been much worse!

    hardy har har. Actually this is beneficial, this solves the problem of the me not posting, and the continual death threats Aileen keeps sending me because of my unposting state! And hey I don't know why I don't to odes to Alf more often :)
